Another week, another container loaded and on its way. This week’s shipment to the United Kingdom is one we’re particularly proud of — 37 units ranging from beloved Japanese mini-bikes and iconic step-throughs to a genuinely rare Harley-Davidson sidecar rig. The mix reflects what we do best: sourcing machines with real character and getting them safely to collectors and enthusiasts overseas.
Here are three bikes from this week’s manifest that we think deserve a closer look.
Honda Motocompo (AB12) One of Japan’s most charming automotive oddities, the Motocompo was produced between 1981 and 1983 and designed to fold completely flat — handlebars, seat, and footpegs all tuck away so it could be stowed in the boot of the Honda City hatchback. Its 49cc engine and space-age looks make it a standout display piece, and good examples are becoming genuinely hard to find. If you’ve been looking for one, this is worth a conversation.
Honda Monkey Baja (Z50J) The Monkey Baja is a more rugged, off-road-flavoured take on Honda’s iconic Z50 — one of the most recognisable mini-bikes ever made. Compared to the standard Monkey, the Baja comes with knobby tyres and a slightly more aggressive stance, while keeping all the compact charm that has made this family of bikes a collector favourite for decades. Clean examples in the UK are increasingly scarce.
Harley-Davidson FLHTC1340 with Sidecar The undisputed headline of this week’s container. The FLHTC Electra Glide Classic is already a commanding machine — 1340cc Evolution V-twin, full touring bodywork, plenty of chrome — but this example comes with a matching sidecar, making it a proper three-wheeled touring rig. Sidecar-equipped Harleys of this spec are genuinely rare in the UK, and this one is sure to attract serious interest. If you’d like more details, reach out sooner rather than later.
